She had come in with a bang on the door, none-too-amused with the surprise turn of events. Noel should have known that this would have been the case, but with the day coming to an end and paperwork that still needed attending to, the higher-ups were not going to be happy with her. The steadily-growing annoyance could be seen on her demeanor, even in the dim lights. And thankfully so, those eyes of his wouldn't scare her much, either.
Noel had already been witness to them countless times.
The door slamming closed, she marched over to her superior. Her hands reached into the pocket of her attire and fished out the now-crumbled remains of his so-called reading list, practically slamming it down the table.
"You know exactly what happened, Captain Hazama!" Full name and everything -- she was nowhere near happy. Not even slightly annoyed. No. Noel was mad. "The store had been closed hours ago. You sent me out for no reason, and I still have a ton of paperwork that needs to get done by tomorrow!"
She could get in so much trouble, but would he care? Of course not.
