He was right. Making another glance at the clock, time began to feel as though it were going faster than it meant to. If she couldn't get all of that paperwork done in time, then she would surely be done for. Not wanting to face the wrath of the higher-ups or even, say, Major Kisaragi, it was almost like she had no other option.

Honestly, it wouldn't be that bad, would it? Just one time. One little thing. That was all. Even if, of all people, it had to be Captain Hazama.

He would guarantee the protection of her position, however. Isn't that what mattered? Lips pursed, and after a few agonizing moments of their little stand-off, she took a few cautious steps forward; there wasn't much that kept the two at a distance, anyway.
