It was over far too soon for his liking. The touch of her lips lingered on his cheek like brush of something both unnerving and enticing at the same time. It certainly wasn't anything like infatuation, though Hazama would be lying if he said that he didn't appreciate the utter beauty of destruction that a Murakumo unit could wreak. But that was a different matter altogether, and was neither here nor there.
Not yet, anyway.
The twitch of his lips was perfectly executed into a smile bordering on a sneer, which only seemed to spread when he lifted a hand up to his cheek and touched the spot where she'd kissed him. Like he was disbelieving, like he couldn't believe that she had just done that.
It took a moment for him to speak.
"That wasn't... quite what I had in mind, Lieutenant." It was the tone of someone admonishing a small child. "I'm sure you're well aware of the consequences of ... encouraging a superior officer into an illicit affair, as per section Six, paragraph two of the N.O.L. Employee Code of Conduct. And I'm sure you're aware that I am well within my right to report you to the board for your behavior."
It was no longer a sneer, but a smirk, which was probably not that much better.

"Right?"
