[It was late at night here in this bustling city that Celty resided in. Most people would be in bed at this time of night, but not her. While Celty was used to working this late at night, she couldn't help but notice there was an awful lot of job requests for her tonight. So much for speeding down the highway with Shooter tonight. She always felt more alive at night, but tonight, all she wanted was to be in her comfortable bed back at the apartment.
Her bike made it's screeching sound that sounded more like a horse neighing as she turned at the corner of a street. The bike sounded exhausted as well. Soon. Just one more delivery and both she and Shooter can rest for the night. This particular request was taking her a little longer than usual too. The client mentioned the cargo being rather delicate, so she was being careful on the road while to keep at a decent speed. She didn't check the contents, she never did, common courtesy and all. Still, can't stop a girl from being a little curious.
The contents themselves were currently inside a bag that she was wearing on her back like a backpack right now. They felt heavy and boxy against her back, so all she could deduct is that it could be a box, and there's probably just some sort of rare artifact kept inside it no doubt.
She loosens are grip on the gas as she approached the meeting point. Before the bridge, just past the convenience store...before a set of stairs that led to a park and then an apartment complex. She came to a full stop a moment later at these sets of stairs and looked around. She was looking for a man to greet her. Hopefully he'll show himself soon so she can finally call it a night.]

Aah, wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I was starting to think you might not be able to find the place, but it looks like I was wrong. [ Applause, Celty, you can has it. ] So glad my faith in the postal service has been restored. The last two couriers I called all just ... disappeared. [ Magical handwaves, go. ] I'm happy to see you were able to make it in one piece, and with the goods --- I assume you still have them --- intact.
Or should I wait until after I get a chance to inspect them before passing judgement?

She lets him continue on his babbling as she gets off her bike. Although she does hear him mention about disappearing couriers. It doesn't really surprise her, people tend to disappear all the time in this city. She's not worried about being one of them anytime soon. Carefully, she takes off the bag from her back and gently lets it rest upright on the ground.
She then pulls out her PDA from the sleeve of her outfit and starts typing out a response and shows it to the man.]
Your items should be intact, but you may inspect first before paying.

He pawed through the bag and carefully flipped the lid up to inspect the eggs inside. Not a single one was cracked or broken. ]
Beautiful! [ He's plucking one out from the carton and holding it up in the light thrown off by the surrounding streetlamps. Yep, he was right. Perfectly intact and without a dent. ]
Aaah, you've really done me proud. Not a lot of people can navigate through the city without breaking something as precious as this. [ Here's him holding the eggs to his chest, cradling them like they were a small child. ]
I suppose you'll want your payment now? Why don't you stay and chat a little while longer? I have some things I'd like to... discuss.

[Eggs...? She was sent to deliver eggs? She tilted her head to one side, if she had a head and didn't have her helmet one, she would have this look of disbelief. They looked like perfectly normal eggs to her! And...so many of them. After she stared enough at the contents, she stared at the man. The way he held those eggs. How...strange. How much of a waste of time this was feeling.
She'd be sighing here, as she types down a few words to the man. She didn't want to stay around for much longer, and something about this man was making her feel slightly annoyed and uneasy.]
It's late. Unless it's important I need to be on my way.
